Villa in the Swiss mountains

Under architectural design

Maurus Frei architectural firm was responsible for the design of this Swiss mountainside villa. The residents wanted to create a space where comfort and warmth where both combined into one.

Continuous

The interior design shows tensive contours inspired by a streamlined yacht. Literaly all lines and furniture are custom built and follow predestined angles. The lower laying living space create intimicy where the Sensofloor has been poured over the steps as well.

Solid surface

The design of the kitchen was inspired by the owner himself, who studied architecture. The lines and specific form of the kitchen are custom made too. Made from Corian it follows the design of the rest of the house. The combination of wood, solid surface and the taupe coloured Sensofloor are a beautiful match.

Pure Earth

The chosen colour of the floor matches well in the surroundings. It is warm and earthy and combines with the wood of the kitchen and cabinets as well as the designer furniture. The clients chose their Sensofloor to be performed as Pure, a solid colour, with which unity and tranquility where created.
